Well after three long weeks, it is all done and put back together. The pictures speak for themselves - and while it wasn't a cheap process, the painting makes a huge difference. It isn't the kitchen I would end up if I started from scratch, but I definitely can't complain either. Most important thing is that I love cooking in it.
Here is the window, without the superfluous corner cupboards.
The daybed, which I bought on ebay months before we moved (
here), looks lovely with its new ticking mattress and all its green cushions in the newly white sun-room.
The dining room just needs a light fitting over the kitchen table (where the bare bulb currently is!).
