An ebay-find Rosenthal base, was converted into a working lamp by Transco (who are super helpful and lovely). And then another new shade was made by Stephanie at Steal the Limelight from the Cloth Wattyl fabric I picked up a few weeks ago. There was some fabric left over so she also made a couple of cushions for the lounge.
Depending on the price of the base and the fabric, these lamp projects end up a lot cheaper than off-the-shelf new lamps and shades. And also a lot more fun!
